It’s been a minute since I’ve blogged. I’m not even sure I’ve written anything here that was purely me and not a creative work or guest blog. (There was a time when my idea of blogging meant rants about 2 Chainz and watermelon and annoying houseguests and bad fashion—all of which are on now-defunct websites.)
My extended (blogging) absence has mostly been fueled by a fear of the unknown. And trolls. And also typos. Oh, and the belief that anything I write has to be written expressly for literary journals and online websites.
I hope to be more present in the future, to share my goals and latest projects. Maybe pass on a little inspiration or something I learned. I might also write about watermelon and weird fashion but instead of 2 Chainz, my neighbor Rita who drinks red liquids (Kool-Aid perhaps?) out of measuring cups. I like her style.
